The Deadly Seven Shook Ones

“I can see it inside your face
you’re in the wrong place
cowards like you just get they’re whole body laced up
with bullet holes and such
speak the wrong words man and you will get touched
you can put your whole army against my team and
I guarantee you it’ll be your very last time breathin’
your simple words just don’t move me
you’re minor, we’re major
you all up in the game and don’t deserve to be a player

Great diaglog and mood. It reminded me of THE FRIENDS OF EDDIE COYLE. The only mistake I could see was the word “puckup” in the very first sub-heading of your story. Keep it up and you’ll be the next Robert B. Parker.

  2. Very nicely done, sir!

Fun, exciting, reading is cool again

Great story! The ending reminded me of Jim Thompson’s “The Getaway” – where even the characters who escape punishment from the law end up paying for their crimes in other ways.

  5. “Macks could see the shooter searching for the hate to kill him.” This is my favorite. And the language all throughout is delicious.
